Dog (for?) Food

Photo taken in China
Frankly not my idea of a meal.. if you know what I am referring to. My parents took this photo in their travels. I really think its a mindset issue as some animals are just not meant to be "golden brown" (in foodie terms or cooking terminology). Termed as man's best friend, in this case, that term as taken a new meaning. I prefer to stay to the conservative for food : )

Cheese Galore!

During the cycling tour, we chanced upon an ongoing cheese auction at this location in the postcard. The travel guide told us that it was really very fortunate for us as it is not a frequent thing. Not too sure if its still the case now. However, the whole auction was quite an experience to watch. Interesting way the transactions were made... all in the name of preserving this very nice culture. Next time, before eating cheese from Holland, my mind will wander back to this place...

Spices

Printed in France

Spices, not only do they bring great flavour to food but its that smell that really draws me. I love the smell of spices and I especially like the smell of the spices used to cook Indian food. Not to mentioned the hot hot feeling at the end of it!

Coffee-Break

Printed in France
I simply love this postcard..or for that matter any thing that is food related. It is a strange relationship that I have with food that draws me. Bread.. something that i learnt to enjoy from my wife. Bread fresh from the bakery is simply heavenly!! I love this postcard for the lovely colour that it presents to the bread and boy, they do look so soft and ready to eat. A good piece of bread or pastry can really make your day and one will not be enough : )

Cafe Restaurant Diglas

Printed in Austria
The Wiener Schnitzel is one of the most memorable food that I had in my travels to this beautiful country. I had a go at almost every one of the restaurants that I had visited. The Gorden blu version that had cheese with it is simply mouth watering. Frankly, my first experience of snow also came from this beautiful country.
