US-307691

Received this very cool postcard + greeting card (not displayed) all the way 15,089 Kms from Chicago, USA! Thanks Juan!
This is the Navy Pier, designed for shipping and entertainment, was opened in 1916 and was, at that time, the world's largest pier. Turned over to military use during both world wars, it slipped into decline for many years; but from the 1970s to 1990s underwent a dramatic transformation standing today as one of Chicago's finest entertainment and convention centres.
